Car Driving Test availability 2025

If you are learning with us and need access to a car for your car driving test we will do everything we possibly can to accommodate you.  This information is designed to give you as much detail about our availability (we will try and update it once a month)…  

This is not a guarantee of availability.  NB –We charge our usual hourly rate for the driving test and any practice beforehand.

Please do not book a test that is so close that you cannot get your money back if we are not available!!  We do have other people with tests who are booked for lessons…

To use our vehicle for your test, we insist that you pass two mock tests in the location you are booking your test within the month prior to your test… preferably at the same time of day.  Each test is scored against your instructor’s badge number – so instructors who take you when you are not ready should expect to be retested themselves – Please do not ask us to do this!!

Please ONLY book a test on Wednesday and Thursdays!!  To be available for tests on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings (before 14:30) we need to make childcare arrangements.  Weekend tests are not available - please do not book a test without checking availability first!

Please book a test later in the morning or earlier in the afternoon (after 11am) this allows for an examiner to be called in to cover for staff sickness and allows for earlier winter tests being cancelled due to snowy roads etc… you have put in so much effort to get to this stage, let’s not risk an unexpected cancellation!!!

If we were unable to commit to the time of your test, then it may be possible for you to rent a car for your test – Arnold Clark at Kingston, Milton Keynes offer this service.  Remember, when booking your driving test, that we are not the only option for you to take your test.  We will do all that we can to help you find a car!!

Tests in either Leighton Buzzard or Bletchley are your best option… We are no longer covering tests at other centres!!

For those looking to book a short notice test, please do not book a test unless we have available lesson gaps showing on Total Drive at the time of your test.  Please do not book a test unless it has been agreed with your instructor beforehand.
